Write a letter to your brother in England describing the wedding of a cousin.

12th March, 20….

Dear Brother,

I trust this letter finds you in the best of your health.

We missed you greatly when you could not come to attend the marriage of our cousin Vijay on 8th March. I am giving you some lively description of the marriage.

The marriage party went to Madras. The house of Shri Y. P. Singh was tastefully decorated and illumined. There was a great hustle and bustle of the guests.

The marriage party, consisting of more than one hundred people, arrived in their cars at about 7 p.m. A warm welcome was given to them. The Jaimala Ceremony was held. After the dinner the pandits arranged for the hem Ceremony'. At about 4 p.m. the Vidal ceremony was performed. There were tears in the eyes of everybody. It was a very pathetic scene.

Please write when you are visiting India. With best wishes.

Yours affectionately,
Amrish
