A letter to a friend, telling him to Future Plan.

My Dear Pankaj,

You have asked me to let you know what I plan to do after passing the Higher Secondary Examination. I wish to study further. I have made a definite proposal to my father. You will be delighted to know that he has agreed to bear the expenses. I have assured him that I shall take the fullest advantage of the opportunities which will be open to me here.

I am told that a Graduate, even post Graduate has no market value these days and that I might start some business. I do not take such a mercenary view of the value of education. High education broadens the mind and gives us knowledge. Without knowledge and culture, life has no meaning at all. I have brains and I can't see any reason why I should not make the most of them.

It would be a pity if I am made to sacrifice my mental development for the sake of a little bread and butter. I hope you will approve of my plan.

With my best regards,
