A Cricket Match

A cricket match was held at Ambedkar Stadium between Delhi University and Delhi XI. After the captains and the umpires had examined the pitch the toss was flung into air and the captain of Delhi University won the toss and decided to bat first. The openers were slow in scoring the run. After the first over one of the wickets was caught and was declared out. Another player came and he began hitting the ball and in about half an hour, he had scored fifty runs. Thus the match went on and this team piled 210 runs before lunch. The other team started after the lunch but their opener were very fast scorers. By the tea time they had scored 150 runs with a loss of 6 wickets. Slowly they moved on but lost the match by one run. The spectators cheered the players of both the teams.
