The Happiest Day of My Life

Yesterday was the happiest day of my life. I got up at 6 a.m. I opened my eyes. I saw my uncle standing before me. He had come late at night. I was very happy to see him. Soon my friend came with a newspaper. My result was out. I had got first position in the district. All had come to congratulate me. I went to the school with my friends. All eyes were on me that day. The principal praised me and my parents in the prayer assembly. He presented a watch to me on my success. My uncle hosted a tea party in the evening. All my teachers and friends attended it. It was really the happiest day of my life.
