The Recess Period in the School

The recess period is always welcome in the school. It marks the end of half day. Students sit in the lawns and eat food. Some students go to the school canteen or the fruit shop. They eat things of their choice. Most of them go to the play field and play some game. Serious students choose a shady corner and discuss different matters. The lovers of books visit the library for extra reading. The recess is full of life and activity. It provides rest and relief to the students. School life would be dull and boring without recess. The teachers spend the recess in a different way. They sit in the common room. They take their lunch. They meet the visitor’s parents and guardians also. In short, the recess period brings new life in school.
