Terrorism

"Earn, eat, drink and be marry to keep away worry."

Man is not immortal. But then he wants to live longer and never wants to die. When there is a danger to the life and property one may take a step of caution and the danger is reduced. There may be a danger from an accident on the road, due to a rail smash, or due to an air crash, or some calamity due to ailment or an epidemic. Now a different type of danger has emerged which is destroying peace. A man armed with sophisticated weapons is killing unarmed men. It is an exhibition of fury let loose for one reason or the other.

Terrorism is a curse. It is a very ghastly thing to society. Terrorism is the danger in which armed men start killing the unarmed. This is unjust and unnatural and needs to be condemned. The people suffer a mental agony. There is a state of uncertainty. We suspect everyone and everything. There had been a number of such types of activities everywhere. Now terrorism is spreading like a wildfire throughout the world. We must guard ourselves. Our country faced terroristic activities since its history started. Aryans came; they terrorized the local people and made them to run to safer places. A mighty king terrorized the weaker one to bring him under his banner. Arabs came to India and occupied the Sind. Many invaders came and ran away terrorizing the people and looting them. They followed the Mughals and the English.

Those people who came outside India were never a friend of Indian people. The Mughals and the English set up examples of terrorism. It is a method to dedicate terms and control the people. We, the people of India knew the past history. But we failed to learn a lesson. In the classrooms, we are taught union is strength, blood is thicker than water; but in reality, we follow an entirely different path. That is why we suffer.

When India became independent after struggling, we set up our own rule. We framed our constitution. There had been many incidents of terrorism in some parts of the country. The man in power does not want to lose. There was a Naxalite movement in Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. Now terrorism is a phenomenon of national magnitude. Assam is boiling, Jammu and Kashmir is melting and also South India is suffering.

In Punjab, the state of terrorism started during Janta Government time. Many Sikh militant organizations started killing Hindus and Sikhs. An atmosphere of awe and suspense prevails. Security forces and local police are not of any help. AK 47 rifles, bomb blast,s etc. are used in acts of terrorism. They kill people, destroy property and create confusion. Political leaders give air to it. God, the Supreme Commander has to come down from heaven to save us all and to guide the misguided.
