Write a letter to the Editor of a newspaper about terrorism.

To,

The Editor,

Indian Express,

New Delhi.

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed paper, I wish to express my great anxiety and concern about the spread of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. We often come to learn that a number of innocent persons are shot dead by terrorists, or a bus is bumped. A great panic has spread. It is necessary to stop this disaster from spreading. There should be minute and strict checking of all the persons entering a state at railway stations and highways. Buses, as well as, private vehicles including two-wheelers should be checked. The public should co-operate with the authorities. Whenever they see somebody in suspicious circumstances they should report to the flying squad of the police. The police should move at once.

Yours faithfully,

XYZ.
