Biography of "Farah Khan"

Farah Khan is a successful choreographer of Bollywood. She has her own individualistic approach to dance sequences. A brand new style and fresh techniques are her trademarks. As a little girl, she wanted to be an astronaut. But destiny chose a different place for her.

Once she saw Michael Jackson doing 'Thriller'. She started copying the dance steps and became quite good at it. Then she started dancing at parties and taking part in dance competitions.

Farah's film career began as an assistant to filmmaker Mansoor Khan in ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander' in 1992. A month later, the song 'Pehla Nasha' of the film went on to become a huge hit. The choreography of the song was highly appreciated. She later choreographed the songs of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', which went on to become a blockbuster. Over the years, she continues to innovate through films like 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa', 'Dil Se', ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai'.
