Biography of H.K. Dua

H.K. Dua is the most revered editor of India. He is also a press advisor to the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Prior to this, he had served the former Prime Minister H.K. Deve Gowda in the same capacity.

Mr. Dua is the former Editor of the Hindustan Times. Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Express and Editorial Adviser to the Times of India. The Board of Trustees appointed senior journalist H.K. Dua as Editor-in-Chief of The Tribune group of newspapers on March 24, 2003. Dua replaced Hari Jaisingh

The journalist turned diplomat, H.K. Dua has been India's ambassador to Denmark. He has vehemently criticised the Congress Party for its decision to bring Sonia Gandhi to lead the party. He opined: "It is the Himalayan blunder the party has committed.” As a leading journalist-cum-author Dua has always been in favour of freedom of the 'fourth column'. His articles in various magazines are widely read by people.
