Biography of Lucky Ali

Lucky Ali is a successful pop singer. His unique and soothing voice has come to be recognised by millions in the country and even outside it. He was named Maqsood Mehmood Ali at birth. He is the son of famous comedian Mehmood.
He stepped into music by accident. He used to breed race horses in England. Later, he worked in an oil rig in Pondichery. Lucky Ali's debut album "Sunoh' was a great success. The premier track from the album “O Sanam' shot amidst the pyramids of Egypt, was on the MTV Asia charts for 60 weeks. His second album "Sifar' was released by Sony Music.
He struck gold with his first foray into films. His debut effort was ‘Kaho Na..Pyar Hai'. He sang 'Ek Pal Ka Jeena' and 'Na Tum Jano Na Hum' for music director Rajesh Roshan. Lucky Ali won Filmfare Award for best male playback singer. He has also acted in films like 'Kaante' and "Sur'. His album Aks'also did good business.
