My dear Rahul
The marriage of my sister Rachna comes off on 30th April. The ceremonies will take place in our house. However, the marriage party will be received at 8.00 pm on that day at the Ganasha Marriage Palace which is only a kilometer away from our house.
You are invited to the wedding and not just invited, you are to come a week earlier to supervise all the arrangements.
I hope I need not repeat the word "invitation" for which I'm also dispatching an Invitation Card as a matter of formality.
Convey my compliments to your revered parents.
Yours sincerely

Dear Rakesh Mahajan
I need not thank you for the invitation you have sent to your sister's marriage. Rachna didi is just like my own sister and I would have come even if you had just informed me of the date of her marriage. As for the invitation card, you must have already dispatched it by now. All right, well and good, though I never needed it I need not repeat I'll come and that quite in time.
Please convey my compliments to my uncle and aunt.
Yours sincerely
Rahul Sharma
