Dear Father,

I hope this letter will find you in the best of spirits. In your last letter you wanted to know my aim in life. I want to join the armed forces. I want to clear the NDA exam after my school education. In this way, I'll be defending and serving my country,. I am prepared to do all that my country needs.

Moreover, I like to lead an adventurous life. Army men lead hard and tough life. They spend days together in the open air, in plains, in deserts, on mountains and wetlands. They live and die for the motherland. They truly serve their country. If they die defending her they are remembered by their countrymen. As long as one lives one holds one's head high serving the nation. I know you too will like the aim I want to be in my life. If the country survives, we live honorably.

Convey my deep and sincere regards to Mom and tell her that I miss her very much.
