Dear Friend,

Today I am overjoyed to tell you that 7th June, xx is a happy day for me. Today class X result was declared. I topped the list of successful candidates at my school. I scored 92.8% marks in the aggregate and more than distinction marks in all 5 subjects.

My mother was with me. The Principal of my school handed me a letter of congratulations for bringing glory to the school. Mother felt proud of my achievement.

We came back home. She suggested to me with tears in her eyes and then informed my father on the phone about my excellent result.

You see everybody at home was extremely glad. I was promised a costly wristwatch. I am happy as now I can have the stream of my choice. I intend to take up science and join FIIT JEE to clear the IIT-JEE Exam in xx. Do write to me about how you have done in exams.
