Child Is the Father of Man

This saying appears to be apparently absurd but is, in reality, true. Childhood is a period in the life of a human being when he is most easily impressed. Anything that the child learns or acquires in this period has a far-reaching effect on his career. It has been said that geniuses like Newton gave a promise of their greatness at an early age. History gives us many examples of extra-intelligent children, who rose to be a great man in their later life. Of course, these are some exceptions to this general rule. One thing, however, is clear that we can to a great extent; control the future of a child by giving him the right sort of education. A child, who is deprived of it in his early years, has to pay a heavy price for the rest of his life. The childhood of a person is often an index to his manhood.
