Time to Stand and Stare

We are too busy today. Life is full of worries and anxieties. We are always thinking about our work, our problems and other matters which take away all our leisure. We have no time left for all that is true and beautiful in life. In fact, so absorbed are we in our daily pursuits that we disregard the very charm of life which surrounds us. We see no sunset or sunrise, we are too busy to glance at the moon, flowers and Flowers and the green grass. We get no joy in the flight of a Kite, in the colours of a butterfly, the smiles and laughter’s of the innocent children. There is a beauty in the drop of Water, the fall of leaf, the ripple of the water flowing down the road after a heavy shower, the clouds gathering in the sky. People walking down the road, villagers with their antique dresses and unsophisticated manners, everything escapes our eyes made dull by the rush of life. Joy if it is to come to man, comes from these small matters of life. The poet has rightly said:

What is this life, if full of care.

We have no time to stand and stare.
