Sub: Irregular and inadequate bus service.
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the Transport Authorities to the extremely poor nature of the bus service in our area.
I along with the other residents of the Madangir area have been suffering acute hardships due to the lack of adequate and regular bus service.
Only four buses, two in the morning and two in the evening cater to the total requirements of the locality. These are however not adequate for the ever-increasing number of the residents who have different working and college-going hours.
The other buses that come via our area are irregular and often completely full. As the result, they either do not stop at the area bus stops or divert from the routes altogether.
This situation worsens at the peak morning hours. And many times people are left stranded at the bus stops.
I request the Transport Authorities to either provide us with more number of buses from our area or increase the frequency of buses that pass through the area.
Thanking you,
Yours Sincerely,
XYZ.
