Sub. Complaining against increasing lawlessness in the city.

 Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I wish to highlight the utter lawlessness in Delhi. Life in Delhi is quite insecure. There is no law maintaining authority, it seems so. Old couples are being murdered. Thefts and murders have surpassed all previous records, and cases of eve-teasing, chain snatching, kidnapping, etc. have also increased. It is difficult for people to protect their lives even behind closed doors of their houses. They feel themselves completely insecure. Robbers strike at their pleasure even in board-day light. Money and valuables are being looted even on busy roads outside or inside and outside the banks.

It is high time for the law-keeping authorities to wake up from slumber to protect the life and property of the citizens of Delhi or else it will be too late and jungle raj will prevail. I hope the authorities will come into action and curb the prevailing state of lawlessness.

Thanking you.

Yours sincerely,

XYZ.
