Sub. Irregular supply of electricity.

Sir,

On behalf of the residents of our colony, I would like to bring to your notice the irregular supply of electricity in our colony. We hardly get supply for 8 hours. It too is sometimes reduced. When it is time to prepare food at night, it usually disappears for two to three hours. Sometimes we have to go without any electricity supply at all during the night when everybody needs restful sleep.

In these days of summer, it is very difficult to work or go to bed without electricity. Everybody perspires even sitting in his or her home.

We, the residents, request good self to increase the supply of power from eight to 20 hours at least. It is hoped steps will be taken to improve the power supply in our area to save us from untold suffering during these hot summer months when the temperature is above 42°C in Delhi.
