Sub. Complaint against low water supply.

Sir,

Through the columns of your widely read newspaper, I wish to bring to light the low water supply by the JAL BOARD to our colony. The supply of water is very low. Our colony is five storeyed and many residents hardly got 3/4 buckets of water which is quite insufficient even for drinking requirements.

The residents have to bring water for their daily needs and hand pumps from a distance of 200 yards. It is very difficult to wait in a long queue for a bucket of water. It is really horrible to go without coolers for lack of water on summer days. People of the colony have been suffering from poor supply of water, particular in the summers.

The residents requested the JAL BOARD several times to improve the water supply but so far nothing has been done in this connection. We hope the columns of your newspaper will force the JAL BOARD to remove our genuine sufferings.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,

XYZ.
