It is customary in modern marketing to organize of the products to promote the sale of the products. These shows are called exhibitions and the products' exhibits. Modern governments, countries, financial institutions, banks, etc. do have strong faith in the organization of exhibitions. The sale increases with each show as the consumers gain familiarity with the articles (goods). And this familiarity is essential. It is the organizational capability of the organizers which makes an exhibition a success. Its success depends upon the crowd it attracts.

A visit to an exhibition is a thrilling experience. It aids one's knowledge. One can know and assess the progress of the country in the international exhibition. They are also the vehicles that carry the culture, civilization, and traditions of one country to the other. Such international exhibitions are generally held in Delhi. They promote understanding and fraternity.

Pragati Maidan in Delhi is a place where the exhibitions are generally held. One can find exhibitions throughout the year. The maidan is a magnificent piece of the architect. It is spread in many kilometers. Its large area is fenced all around with a wall. There are big gates, on three sides. But one can enter there only after purchasing an entry ticket. During my holidays in winter, I went to Delhi and I wanted to visit this beautiful and splendid place. Luckily, there was an exhibition arranged with the help of foreign countries.

There were great attractions for the people of Delhi. People from far and wide also came to see it. The whole scene looked like a fairy place and presented a colorful sight. There were a great hustle and bustle. Men, women, and children in their best dresses were leisurely walking about. Some were making purchases. There was a flood of light inside. There were large crowds at refreshment rooms, restaurants, shops, and stalls. People were enjoying South Indian food, Punjabi dishes, Chinese food, and other types of preparations, Soft music added to the show.

The exhibition was arranged in different sections. One section contained types of paintings, carving materials in wax and wood. Oil and water paintings in one section, there were models of weapons, tanks, airplanes, satellites, and other important machinery. It spoke highly of our progress in technology and science.

In another section, there were pottery and crockery. Many modern items which can be used in the kitchen were displayed there. My sister purchased one solar cooker, electric lighter, and self-controlled gas hearth. We saw many new things but it is not possible to describe them all. A visit to an exhibition is an experience that leaves its impact for all times to come. One can also access the progress of the country which it had made. Further, there is a lot to learn out of comparison. There is a scope for improving things. Newmarket centers get exploited.
