An Ideal Citizen

The citizens of a nation are its greatest wealth. Good citizens alone can make a nation great and strong. An ideal citizen is one who does nothing against the interest of his country. He is the pride of his nation. He behaves responsibility in every field of life. He is conscious of his rights and also of his duties. With his duty comes first. He knows that it is impossible to enjoy one's rights without performing one's sincerely. He never forgets the duties that he owes to society. He never does anything that might cause inconvenience to others. He obeys all the laws of the state. He pays all the taxes that are due to him. He knows that it is only through taxes that all the projects of public welfare are carried out. He has a truly national outlook. He is not narrow-minded. He is above the considerations of caste and creed. He is tolerant to all faiths. He works for national unity. Patriotism is the highest religion for him. He takes an active part in the national affairs. He keeps his eyes and ears open. He knows everything around him. He does not tolerate any anti-national activity. He lives a clean and honest life. He fights for truth and justice.
