The Role of Electricity in Our Daily Life

Since the advent of civilization man had been trying to discover the hidden treasure of nature whenever he felt any kind of necessity, he invents the articles by using his intellect and hands. Slowly new articles came to exist. Some very intelligent men of the past discovered a new world and he called it the world of science. It brought wonderful items of daily needs. One of these wonderful inventions was electricity which brought us inventions.

The invention of electricity proved a blessing for man. It gave him light, the power to run machines and factories, coolers and refrigerators to keep everything cool, room heaters, presses, and many items which are of daily use. If we go down into the history of electricity, it widened the path of progress of man by opening new subsidiary products.

In the modern world, it cannot be supposed that we can do without electricity. Industrial, economical, and social development will standstill. Progress will come to a stop. Our domestic life has become very comfortable with the invention of electrical appliances. It has caused to develop of Radio, Television, and Cinema. All these are today inevitable for our life.

Our education depends upon it. The production of books and other relatives material is produced by the printing presses run by electricity.

It is a means which has provided ways for the purpose of ensuring employment to lakhs of people in some of the other job. All the machines and factories function properly because of electricity.

In the agricultural field also electricity has become useful as it runs the motors to draw water from the tube wells to irrigate the fields to get a good yield.

Modern financial and economical progress depends solely on electricity. Today not only big factories and heavy machines are made to run by electricity but railways also which run by electricity. These railway engines have increased the speed of the railways greatly and have shortened the distance. It has solved the problem of pollution and smoke by the use of coal in the industrial units and railway engines. 

The use of telephone and telegraph has enabled the man to talk at a good distance and to send messages immediately. It has enhanced the business also.

In the field of medical science, it has proved a blessing. With the invention of the X-ray machine, doctors can take photographs of the internal parts of the human body and can cure a patient of his ailments easily.
