Sir,

At the onset, I would like to congratulate you upon the improved contents of your programmes on AIR's Fm. Channel.

Not only are the programmes more current, but their presence is also effervescent. They bring enthusiasm to our daily lives.

Besides they can also be heard along with the family. Programmes relating to health care, AIDS, immunization, current affairs, share bazaar, etc. add to our knowledge. Which in turn helps in dispelling many myths and wrong notions about them?

However, excess of film-based, to a certain extent, take away the seriousness out of these otherwise excellent programmes.

I feel that a balance between film-based and other programmes relating to youth, current affairs, and women issues, environment, business etc. should be corrected. So that the listening pleasure can be maintained.

I would end my letter by once again congratulating you and the fine panel of announcers who are doing an excellent job.
