Biography of Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor is a glamorous and successful actress in the Mumbai film industry. She belongs to the famous Kapoor family. She is the younger sister of actress Karishma Kapoor. She was born on September 21, 1980. Her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor are film stars of yesteryears.

Kareena wanted to study Law in Harvard and had no plans to do join Bollywood but destiny willed otherwise. She was offered a good role in Rakesh Roshan's "Kaho Naa Pyar Hai'. But minor differences led to her walking out of the project. Her debut film was J.P. Dutta's 'Refugee'. She was cast opposite debutante Abhishek Bachchan. The film was not a major hit. But Kareena was appreciated for her acting. Then she was flooded with offers of good roles by the top film producers. Subhash Ghai signed her for 'Yaadein' and Karan Johar for 'Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham'. Her film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' was also a major hit. With many films in her kitty, Kareena Kapoor's future looks promising.
